Bailey was born and raised locally and is proud to call Hemel home. She became involved in politics at 16 after seeing how much political decisions shape everyday life and local communities.

After growing up in Kings Langley, Bailey studied History, Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London, before returning to the area and settling back in Hemel while completing an MSc in Political Science at University College London.

Alongside her studies, Bailey has built her career working in Parliament for an MP in both Westminster and constituency offices, gaining first-hand experience of how to deliver meaningful change for residents and get things done.

Bailey is delighted to be Labour’s candidate for Apsley & Corner Hall and is committed to being a strong local voice at Dacorum Borough Council, listening to residents, standing up for the community, and delivering the change local people deserve.
