I’m David Taylor, MP for Hemel Hempstead. I’m working for a Hemel that fulfils its founding promise: to be the best possible place to live, work, bring up a family and grow old in.

Serving as your MP and advocating for our local community is truly the privilege of a lifetime. It was an absolute honour to deliver my maiden speech in the House of Commons for Hemel.

I set out the priorities for our community, things that people have told me they are most concerned about. These include:

Fighting for local health services
Improving SEND provision
Combatting antisocial behaviour and crime
Reducing the cost of living
Safeguarding our jobs and businesses
